This documentary tells the story of Norma Andrade, a Mexican mother, who became a human rights activist as she tried to bring to justice the perpetrators of the 2001 murder of her daughter in Ciudad Juárez. After 23 years of struggle, her case is now before the Inter-American Court. This will be her first and only chance to get a trial, and the second femicide case examined by the Court since 2019.

Norma – En búsqueda de la justicia

Ce documentaire poignant sur les féminicides au Mexique raconte l’histoire de Norma Andrade, mère de Lilia Alejandra assassinée à Ciudad Juárez en 2001. Le film retrace son combat de 23 ans pour obtenir justice et met en lumière les failles du système judiciaire et la violence contre les femmes. Il illustre également la détermination des mères mexicaines en quête de vérité dans un pays où 98 % des féminicides restent impunis.
